Demand Management Specialist (IT project coordinator)


Your role in a nutshell:

To provide overall governance of IT demand management, to ensure the quality of end to end demand management process. To liaise between customers and the solution groups. To act as the single point of contact until the end of the demand lifecycle. To track and push the approval of the demands and the solution of the customer requests. To investigate standard solutions and potential external solutions. To manage customer demand projects fully or partially and make status reports to the Steering Committee.


What you will love in your role:

  • Drives the IT demand management process and ensures that demands are captured, assessed, costed and are implementable/ scalable with agreements on delivery commitments made by the implementation and operations teams.
  • May coordinate IT transition and solution implementation projects as well.
  • Highlights any arising risks, provides mitigation plan, also brings any issues up and applies problem solving techniques to resolve them.
  • Chairs the IT Demand Board meetings.
  • Examines local standard solutions, and also looks for solutions externally. Makes proposal for 3-4 alternative IT technical solutions.
  • Engages with 3rd parties and (internal and external) IT teams.
  • End to end IT solution delivery.
  • Identifies and communicates any deviation from the demand management process, defines and implements corrective actions.

What will you bring to the team:

  • experience of an IT methodology or process model (e.g. ITIL)
  • IT demand management experience
  • experience in project/ process/ change management
  • telecom or SSC experience
  • SAP system/ application maintenance / development and infrastucture knowledge (desired)
  • fluent English language knowledge
  • strong communication/ negotiation skills
