Digital Data Management Specialist

 

 

Your role in a nutshell: 

 

The Data & Analytics team provides high quality data management solutions enabling the delivery of digital dashboards to support top management decisions across Vodafone Group functions (HR, Commercial, Technology, Finance and Enterprise operations). Working in agile projects development in collaboration with project managers, IT developers and finance reporting teams to ensure the development and maintenance of complex database solution (MS SQL and Cloud based data warehouse) to enable digital reporting. 

 

 

What you will do in your role: 

 

  • Provide end to end data governance to support management reporting process
  • Ensure strong MI Governance, all KPI definitions are followed and harmonized
  • Review and approve system change request
  • Initiate system updates and ensuring data flow
  • Raise complex metadata changes and review CoA structure highlighting potential risk
  • Work with Group Reporting on accounting queries and system setups
  • Manage collection of offline data, making sure that the timetable is met by local markets
  • Provide Local Market support on queries regarding the process or content
  • Manage senior stakeholders, ensure working partnership
  • Deliver reconciliation processes to ensure data quality
  • Execute process mapping and end-to-end process assessment to identify real issues and root causes
  • Support system transition projects
  • Understand the connections & potential efficiencies of local DW solutions vs. Group D&A strategical projects
  • Provide functional and / or data SME support for SI and VF Group central teams
  • Strong cooperation with other _VOIS organizations and functions. Occasionally act as project manager
  • Support the trainings to new members of the reporting team, shares knowledge and best practices.
  • Get involved and add ideas to process improvement initiatives.

  

 

What will you bring to the team: 

 

  • 2-5 years of experience in related fields
  • Working experience with Oracle suite (Hyperion, HFM, Essbase)
  • Financial and reporting knowledge
  • Good understanding of change cycles
  • Full ownership of assigned area and single point of contact
  • Advanced Microsoft skills (MS Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
  • Visual basic knowledge (VBA) (advantage)
  • Telecom experience (advantage)
  • Experience in working with Agile development and methods in cross functional organization and across different locations
  • Proactive involvement
  • Fluent English C
  • Good communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to drive agreed changes
  • Project management skills
  • Accuracy, attention to detail
