Your role in a nutshell: 
 

The Digital department is responsible for optimising the use of Digital Channels for Sales and Service in Vodafone UK. You’ll sit within the Consumer Segment Tribe and work with the Marketing, Commercial and Operations teams within the company to deliver the best possible self-service Sales and Support experience for our customers.
As a Digital Delivery Manager working to Agile principles and an Agile delivery approach, your role will be responsible for overseeing the Digital delivery of a prioritised backlog to maximise business benefit of the products and features we offer.  You’ll work closely with the Development team as well as the Scrum Master, the Product Owners, the team’s Category / Feature Managers and business stakeholders based in the Marketing team. It will be your responsibility to ensure requirements are clearly defined, work load is prioritised according to the team’s KPIs and business benefit, acceptance criteria are met, and commercial deadlines are achieved. 


What will you do:
 

  • Work with stakeholders and the team to validate and communicate digital delivery requirements 
  • Work with key stakeholders and Product Owners to understand and communicate shifting priorities
  • Manage the digital backlog and feed demand into the team - ensuring they’re working on the highest priority items and meeting deadlines, whilst sustaining an attainable workload
  • Retain a holistic view of all deliveries across both teams in order to identify and impact assess potential clashes, risks and dependencies 
  • Stakeholder management – act as a gateway between business stakeholders and the digital delivery teams to manage requirements, risks and communicate delivery status

 

What you will bring to the team:
 

  • Experience of working in a Digital production team
  • Experience of working in an Agile development  environment
  • Stakeholder management and ability to influence decisions
  • Project management and strong organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of Digital Marketing in order to challenge briefs, processes and output when appropriate, in order to drive high-quality executions and improve business efficiency
  • Digitally literate, with a good understanding of working with CMSs.
  • Ideally educated to Degree Level
  • Experience of working in telecoms industry (desirable)
  • Qualified Agile Product Owner and / or Scrum Master (desirable)
