eCommerce Specialist (Maternity cover)

Your role in a nutshell:
Working within the Digital Trading Squad this role is responsible for briefing and overseeing the online delivery of handset and accessory launches, as well as changes including pricing and promotions for consumer customers. You will proactively identify and drive on-site change to improve conversion to support the Digital Trading Squad to meet their overall commercial objectives.

What will you do:
•   Create briefs for portfolio (i.e. handset launch), promotion, price and campaign changes in digital consumer and business segments
•   Serving as a stakeholder and project coordinator for work requests including communication with production teams and other departments (i.e. Go To Market, Commercial, B2B, Supply Chain Management)
•   Proactive identification of on-page site improvements to increase quality and drive conversion of online sales
•   Interact with cross functional departments
•   Act as key point of contact for Digital Catalogue testing and release scheduling, reporting defects and relevant associated documentation
•   Report back to the consumer on RAG status and work with Digital Planning Specialist to prioritise where there are clashes in resource or delivery
•   Responsible for accurate and timely briefing of Digital Production on new handset launches and key point of contact for sign off at launch

What you will bring to the team:
•   Strong English language knowledge is required both written and oral
•   1-2 years in an eCommerce role or Digital Merchandising field (eCommerce)
•   Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
•   Confidence and friendly personality for dealing with multiple stakeholders
•   Proficiency with Excel to update and maintain complex product and pricing spreadsheets
•   Experience in project management
•   Knowledge of eCommerce platforms and back-end process for stock control, device launches and pricing is an advantage
•   VBA and basic HTML knowledge is an advantage
•   Agile / Scrum experience is an advantage
