Digital UX & UI Designer

for our Consumer Business Unit

Your place in the team 
Responsible for the digital UX and UI representation of Vodafone Hungary. Leads UX and UI works on multiple projects and promotions. Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to discoverable and learnable user experiences. Create designs, wireframes, mockups, layouts, and prototypes based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts. Communicate scenarios and screen designs to stakeholders. Work with the brand team to incorporate the visual identity of Vodafone into features. Develop and maintain design assets and specifications library as needed. Model and act in accordance with Vodafone guiding principles.  Plan, participate conduct ad user research sessions, create protitypes for the testing sessions.

You will be involved in the following tasks 
•    Build strong relationships and operating rhythms with Product Owners, Performance Managers and Segment managers.
•    Develop creative concepts and design plans iteratively for Vodafone websites and apps
•    Ensure that every design work is fitting to digital UX and brand guidelines
•    Act as the user’s advocate during the development process, subjecting early-stage designs to usability testing or expert review, and offering implementation suggestions from a user-centered perspective (with the support of a UX/UI designer)
•    Initiate, suggest, and advocate major UI/UX changes for a more intuitive and ergonomic user experience (with the support of a UX/UI designer)
•    Deliver work within project timelines and in an organized manner that can be easily handed off to other teams and team members, with strong attention to detail 
•    Collaborate with other members of the team to deliver designs encompassing requirements from all stakeholders
•    Understand and leverage current technologies to enhance the customer shopping experience, keep up-to-date on the latest digital trends as well as company capabilities 
•    Assist in developing, maintaining, and manage the design asset library 
•    Take the initiative in providing input and feedback in both digital discussions and on issues relating to other departments
•    Has a clear understanding about our digital customer journeys( Portal, webshop, App) which makes her/him capable to define the focus points of the research. Can conduct interviews, has ad-hoc questions. Develops solid set of thorough recommendations and synthesizes findings well. Align recommendations with delivery squads

We are looking for you if you have 
•    Exceptional design and prototyping skills, attention to detail and consistency
•    An engaging UX or UI design portfolio
•    Strong working knowledge of Adobe CC and associated design tools
•    Good knowledge of Figma, Miro and/or similar prototyping tools
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining designs
•    Ability to read and interpret design languages
•    Ability to manage multiple projects, to prioritize and meet deadlines with a short time frame
•    Full understanding of best design practices across platforms and channels
•    Basic understanding of business and economic principles
•    Autonomously designs wireframes, coordinates the plan with other devisions and modifies it according to feedback.
•    Rendering and animation skills is a plus
•    Knowledge of ObjectiveC (iOS) and C++ (Android) is a plus
•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in web design, interaction design, human-computer interaction or related field, or equivalent experience
