About this Role

We are seeking an experienced application developer to design, build, and enhance global financial clearing solutions that support Vodafone’s B2B billing and settlement processes. This role sits within the Financial Clearing House (FCH), a global competence centre delivering highly automated, end‑to‑end solutions across roaming, interconnect, IoT, carrier services, messaging, and fixed-line domains. The individual will contribute to transformation initiatives, new digital platforms, and scalable solutions that support Vodafone’s evolving business models.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and enhance financial clearing and settlement applications supporting global B2B services
  • Deliver accurate effort estimations and contribute to solution design decisions
  • Create proofs of concept to explore technologies, architectures, and delivery scenarios
  • Ensure high‑quality implementation through code reviews, design guidance, and testing practices
  • Perform unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing to ensure reliable delivery
  • Support smooth releases of new functionalities into production environments
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve issues across development, test, and production systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Vodafone markets to support new business initiatives and process optimisation

Who you are

  • An experienced software developer with strong expertise in Oracle database technologies
  • Comfortable working in agile delivery environments with distributed teams
  • Experienced in handling sensitive financial data with integrity and attention to detail
  • Confident operating in complex, fast‑changing environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Ideally familiar with telco B2B models such as roaming, interconnect, or carrier services
  • Fluent in English with the ability to communicate technical topics clearly
