Frontend Developer
Your role in a nutshell:
The Frontend Developer supports the Online Delivery department and develops web solutions for the website, e-commerce site and management portal of Vodafone Germany. This role will architect and develop websites and applications using different web technologies. Furthermore, the Senior Front-end Developer will focus on knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of the code base for the front-end developer community.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and optimise web solutions for online users together with experienced developers from Vodafone Germany
- Manage the development of the current website through the full lifecycle as part of an agile Scrum team
- Coordinate all technical development activities
- Develop solutions in close cooperation with product owners, UX, editorial, quality assurance and operations, from the initial idea to the launch of new functionalities
- Support the development of an agile front-end delivery chain based on React in the context of DevOps, continuous deployment, and test automation
- Take ownership of the developed code and share knowledge with other developers during code reviews with a focus on clean code principles and continuous improvement
What you’ll bring to the team:
- 3+ years of experience in JavaScript
- Strong know-how in React
- Experience in delivering high-value projects, websites and presenting them to stakeholders
- Agile-based software development, capability to write clean, well-documented code
- Full proficiency in English
