About this role
We are seeking a Pricing Strategy Specialist to lead commercial pricing decisions and develop compelling propositions for Vodafone’s enterprise clients. This role involves managing bid pricing activities, collaborating with sales teams, and influencing customer decisions through strategic pricing and high-quality proposal materials. The individual will work across global and local markets, ensuring profitability and consistency in pricing strategies and new product introductions.
What you’ll do
- Lead the creation and structuring of commercial propositions that align with customer needs and Vodafone’s financial goals.
- Develop pricing strategies based on market dynamics, product life cycles, and customer requirements.
- Guide sales teams throughout the offer lifecycle—from qualification to contract signature.
- Present customer usage data, analyse profitability, and support forecasting and planning.
- Participate in customer negotiations and influence decisions through trust-building and quality proposals.
- Write and negotiate commercial contractual clauses and understand various contracting options.
- Drive internal process improvements and contribute to cross-functional learning.
- Ensure consistent pricing across geographies and maintain high-quality documentation and models.
Who you are
- Experienced in developing commercial and pricing propositions.
- Skilled in customer-facing negotiations and relationship building.
- Possess wholesale telecom and management accounting experience (preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and prioritisation skills.
- Able to work flexibly and accurately under pressure.
- Holds a deep understanding of business and mathematics.
- Demonstrates innovation and attention to detail.
- Has 5–8 years of relevant experience and provides professional guidance to peers.
