About this Role
We are seeking an experienced IoT service professional to lead the service relationship for Vodafone’s most strategic global IoT customers. This role focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty by acting as a trusted advisor, overseeing the full lifecycle of IoT services, and driving continuous service improvements. The position operates as a governance layer across IoT Operations, requiring strong technical knowledge, stakeholder management, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
What you’ll do
- Act as the primary contact for Vodafone’s largest global IoT customers, building and maintaining strong relationships
- Manage interactions at senior leadership level and lead service review meetings, including QBRs
- Deliver proactive IoT technical service management across the service lifecycle
- Analyse service patterns and customer needs to drive improvements aligned with ITIL principles
- Lead and shape service enhancement initiatives and operational improvements
- Define, approve, and implement processes that impact customer solutions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to improve service delivery and solution capabilities
- Support strategic IoT planning topics and ensure alignment with customer needs
- Oversee KPIs, SLAs, NPS, and service improvement plans to ensure contractual commitments are met
- Partner with commercial teams to remove barriers to adoption, enabling revenue growth and customer value creation
Who you are
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills; proficiency in German is advantageous
Certified in ITIL v3 Foundation - Experienced in project management and service management environments
- Deep technical understanding of IoT and networking technologies (e.g., WAN, LAN, SDN, security, mobile networks including 4G/5G)
- Skilled in data analysis, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights
- Experienced in managing customer relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Familiar with IoT modules and technologies (e.g., SIMCOM, Quectel, Gemalto, Sierra Wireless)
- Knowledge of LPWA and mobile network technologies such as GPRS, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G
- Experience in automotive OEM environments is preferred
- Demonstrates a collaborative, solution-focused approach and the ability to work effectively in matrix organisations
