IT Test Automation Engineer

Your place in the team
Part of our Digital Tribe and Devops & IT Test chapter take place in the agile internal development processes and provide best in class test automation and test support to achieve as good application quality as it is possible. Make the development teams life easier to provide them quality feedback as early as it is possible through automation and through teamwork. Bring new technologies and best of class processes/tools into the Test domain.

 

You will be involved in the following tasks
•    Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
•    Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
•    Organize and update existing test cases
•    Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java test framework
•    Create defects with useful and technical details
•    Enhance automation functions to improve ease of use and re-usability
•    Monitor automation results in Continuous Integration software
•    Gain domain expertise
•    Deep understanding of product features and functions
•    Gain technical and architectural knowledge of products and how they interact with external components in end to end scenarios

We are looking for you if you have
•    3+ years’ experience in technical software quality engineering
•    Excellent problem-solving skills
•    Good communication skills
•    Experience with one or more automation frameworks (Selenium webdriver, Appium ...)
•    Experience working closely with developers, product managers, and other team members in an agile environment
•    Experience with reading and understanding Java code and creating automated scripts in Java
•    Experience working on Linux environments
•    Knowledge of JIRA or other issue tracking software.
•    Experience with SOAP and REST services, JMeter is a plus
•    Experience with additional scripting languages (Python, Ruby, etc.) is a plus
•    Experience in Performance testing is a plus
•    ISTQB CTFL exam is a plus
