Junior Digital Designer-Fixed-term

Your role in a nutshell:
As a Junior Digital Designer, you will be based within an agile, multi-disciplinary team, working to create, update and maintain digital media assets for the UK market, across formats such as web pages, responsive emails, display ads, banners, promotions/price changes, and related content. You’ll work closely with a wide range of people from across the business to understand and interpret requirements, identify opportunities, and produce high quality assets that are accurate, timely and adhere to Vodafone’s design system and brand guidelines. You’ll be following brand guidelines, conducting research, collecting relevant information, using relevant design tools and project management tool on a daily basis. There will also be some build work in the CMS, uploading the content you create where necessary.
What you’ll do:
- Manages the production of marketing materials for ecommerce team, including outputs such as banners, branded content and responsive web pages, emails etc.) for UK Consumer market
- Works in a multi-disciplinary team to achieve high quality, consistent output across a number of projects.
- Incorporates relevant graphics, illustrations, photography and graphic elements to meet design brief, brand and stakeholder needs
- Maintains and manages central database of graphic items to minimize rework and for use by wider marketing team
- Ensures new materials are compliant with brand/corporate identity guidelines
- Manages upload of materials using relevant tools
- Comfortable working in a CMS to make basic updates to content as and where needed
- Provides regular status reports, coordinates personal workload
- Supports team members
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Strong Business English language knowledge
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Storytelling and research skills
- Graphic design experience
- User of key design packages (Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, After Effects)
- Strong visual sense and creativity
- Ability to work with a wide range of media
