Lifecycle Marketing Specialist 

 

Your role in a nutshell:  

 

 

Deliver world-class marketing and service communications to Vodafone customers driving engagement, customer satisfaction and commercial benefit. This role is specifically based within the Retention squad. The Retention squad focuses on reducing customer churn and increasing loyalty by delivering targeted, data-driven campaigns across digital channels. Their goal is to maximise customer lifetime value through personalised retention strategies and continuous optimization.  

 

 

What will you do: 

  • Production and execution of marketing and service messages across various channels (SMS, MMS, e-mail, push notification). Some communications will be written and produced in-house, other communications will be briefed and managed through CVM agencies. Brief external creative agencies and manage the campaign production process. Write engaging and informative agency briefs that clearly communicate the activity taking place and the desired customer response. Assess and manage the creative output of our CVM marketing agency.  Have a considered opinion on the quality of the proposed work, providing clear and structured feedback when required.

  • Ensure all marketing activity reflects our brand strategy and tone of voice and that all communications are legally compliant and drive a positive response. 

  •  

    Track and report on the impact of all marketing and service communications, making clear recommendations on how we can further increase brand appreciation and customer engagement. Test and learn to identify how we can positively influence deliverability and customer impact. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and message optimisation.  

  •  

    Ensure Customer Experience is at the heart of all communications generated. Develop, challenge and review campaigns with a clear considersation for how they impact customer’s perception and brand experience. 

     

What you will bring to the team: 

  • Marketing experience with knowledge of campaign briefing, design and testing. Able to think both creatively and analytically to deliver compelling campaigns.  

     

  • Experience in (or understanding of) digital marketing would be particularly beneficial. 

     

  • Highly customer focused with ability to pull together complex customer journeys to ensure the best experience is delivered.  

     

  • Confident stakeholder management skills with a natural ability to influence across all levels of the organisation 

     

  • Able to operate within a fast-paced, highly competitive and demanding commercial environment. Strong project management skills are required to manage multiple requirements across challenging timelines.  

     

  • Able to focus on priorities with a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude.
