About this Role

We are seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Project Specialist to join our SCM Transformation Office in Budapest. This role is critical in leading the SCM workstream of Vodafone’s M&A projects, ensuring seamless integration of systems, processes, and data. The individual will collaborate closely with Group IT and business stakeholders to manage data migration, uphold confidentiality standards, and maintain business continuity throughout transitions. The role also involves structured governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement to support successful programme execution.
 
 

What you will do

  • Lead SCM workstream integration activities aligned with Vodafone’s strategic goals.
  • Support Group IT in secure data migration and segregation, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards.
  • Define and manage project plans, risks, issues, and dependencies across SCM and IT integration streams.
  • Act as a liaison between IT, SCM teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparent communication.
  • Minimise operational disruption and ensure business continuity during integration.

Who you are

  • A professional with 3+ years of project-related experience.
  • Certified in project management methodologies such as PMP®, PRINCE2®, AgilePM®, Scrum Master, SAFe, or Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt).
  • Experienced in managing complex IT/SCM transformation programmes.
  • Knowledgeable in end-to-end SCM systems and processes.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, risk management, and problem-solving in high-pressure environments.
  • Able to communicate complex issues clearly and develop practical solutions.
