Account Management Specialist – IOT
(German speaker)
Your role in a nutshell:
The IOT National Account Manager role is focused on managing existing SME and Public Sector customers, who have signed IOT agreements with Vodafone Germany. You will be expected to deliver best-in-class account management, ensuring that existing contractual commitments are delivered, and exceeded, working with your customers to identify and exploit whitespace to grow revenues. You will need to be able to build relationships, awareness, and trust across your base of accounts and work effectively across both internal and external stakeholders to deliver results.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for revenue delivery of named accounts
- Continuously comparison of monthly revenues and sim activations against customer commitment or forecast
- Identify and acquire additional projects with given customers
- Negotiate extensions of costumer contracts and protect revenue erosion
- Responsible for delivery against targets, budget and resourcing in sales region
- Actively pursue new opportunities and build new customer relationships
- Acquire a minimum number of key contacts as defined and agreed within your sales plan through and agreed outbound contact strategy.
- Develop a comprehensive sales plan through effective landscaping to efficiently and effectively identify, qualify, propose, negotiate & close Sales opportunities across the Vodafone portfolio
- Build & manage Sales pipeline to ensure a minimum of 4x Sales target.
- Ensure all sales opportunities are recorded and progressed using all of the tools available to you, in an accurate & efficient manner, through Vodafone’s CRM system.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Good knowledge of the German IoT market and/ or experience with placing propositions in SME and public sector
- History of successful sales in a B2B telecoms/IT environment (>> 1 years)
- Passion for M2M and the new business opportunities it offers our customers
- Service Business experience
- Willingness to learn about IoT products, services and solutions with particular focus on SME and public sector accounts.

- Strong commercial and business acumen.

- Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a B2B, complex sales environment
- Excellent German and Englisch language skills
