About this Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead complex, cross-market SAP transformation programmes within VOIS. This role is pivotal in driving change, enhancing business effectiveness, and ensuring seamless integration across global teams. The individual will be responsible for managing programme governance, stakeholder engagement (including C-level), and ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards. The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multi-cultural teams and vendors across geographies.
What you’ll do
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex SAP transformation projects across multiple markets.
- Establish and manage governance processes to ensure timely decision-making and alignment with key stakeholders.
- Partner with system integrators, Group and local market teams, and central functions (FinOps, SCM, BI, IT) to shape and execute the programme.
- Monitor and mitigate risks, issues, and escalations, ensuring transparency and progress reporting across the programme scope.
- Influence senior stakeholders (D and E band) to drive alignment and manage expectations regarding process and system changes.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the agreed scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Support new initiatives and business case development to secure local market engagement and sponsorship.
Who you are
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, global SAP ERP implementations, ideally within shared service environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business and external partners.
- Deep understanding of Vodafone’s EVO delivery model and experience in at least two complex, multi-cultural project implementations.
- Skilled in project scoping, planning, budgeting, resource and vendor management.
- SAFe certification is desirable.
- Excellent communication and abstract thinking skills, with a track record of delivering under pressure in complex environments.
- Telecoms industry experience (5+ years) and expertise in billing systems/data warehouse projects is a plus.
