Jr. Partner Markets Account Manager (Fixed term contract)

Your role in a nutshell: 

 


To provide direct link/engagement between VGE (Vodafone Global Enterprise) Global account teams and account team/s in Partner territory by working closely with Principal Managers. Takes responsibility on introducing, brokering, and managing, initial and ongoing engagements for RFPs and day-to-day activity between VGE Sales community and Vodafone Partner Sales team.
As a Senior NAM you will take on a broader role within the team. You will be accountable for taking on a more Senior position, not only within the team but also across our partner and internal stakeholder relationships. You will have accountability across a range of areas, from managing weekly trading and forecasting sessions with the partners, to helping to shape initiatives and campaigns to drive business into our partner community. Fixed term contract for 2 years.

 

 

What you will do in your role: 

 

  • Conduct retention and acquisition activity on selected Market Base 
  • Lead customer negotiations and close deals
  • Work with effective targets and sales strategy
  • Achieve revenue growth and retention of allocated Partner Markets
  • Proactive cross & upselling by offering new tariffs, services and business solutions
  • Maintain contact with allocated contacts regularly to ensure customer satisfaction and churn reduction
  • Assess the customer needs and suggest a best possible product solution and win deals
  • Support preparation of customer offer including a pricing proposal
  • Deals with the most sensitive top customers
  • Handles more complex and/ or non-standard issues and requests
  • Negotiates with senior levels of the customer
  • Provides channels information back to the organization about customers' needs concerning products and services
  • Acts as Senior Account manager involvement in coach and train Junior Account Manager
  • Manage weekly and monthly trading sessions with the partners, supporting team members across all existing partner relationships 
  • Help to support and upskill new starters onto the team
  • Define and launch campaign and initiatives to drive pipeline/AOV across partner base 
  • Support with the ongoing enhancement of MI/reporting to demonstrate value add of the team
  • Lead key stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally

  

 

What will you bring to the team: 

 

 

  • What you bring to the team:
  • Fluency in English
  • Minimum 2 years of experience within a Sales environment
  • Experience working within telecommunications industry and/or with next generation services (IoT, M2M, cloud and hosting) is an advantage
  • Experience in direct communication, preferably in the B2B field
  • Good problem solving, communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of CRM system: salesforce.com, QlikView, etc.
  • High-level negotiation skills
  • Self-driven attitude
