About this Role

We are seeking a Performance Expert to join the Group Financial Controlling function based in Budapest. This role focuses on enabling effective oversight of finance process performance across Corporate Services Organisation (CSO) services, ensuring accurate, compliant, and complete inputs into Group Financial Reporting. The role combines finance process knowledge with analytics and stakeholder collaboration to drive transparency, governance, and continuous improvement across Record to Report (R2R) and non-R2R processes.

What you’ll do

  • Support the delivery and ongoing development of the Group finance process health framework and associated governance model.
  • Coordinate with Finance Operations, Transformation, and IT teams to ensure Group Finance business requirements are understood and met.
  • Design, maintain, and report performance measures aligned to finance best practices.
  • Produce regular service performance reports for management, highlighting key metrics, risks, issues, and improvement initiatives.
  • Support investigations into process performance issues and contribute to the assessment and design of remediation actions.
  • Act as a day-to-day contact for Group Finance on matters related to finance process health and performance oversight.

Who you are

  • You bring solid knowledge of finance processes such as Record to Report, Asset Accounting, and Accounts Payable.
  • You are analytical and comfortable working with data, turning insights into clear and meaningful messages for business stakeholders.
  • You communicate confidently with stakeholders at different levels, including senior management.
  • You are curious, solution-oriented, and motivated to improve processes through structured analysis.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
  • You are confident using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint for analysis and reporting.
