Pre-Sales Operations Manager

(Budapest)

Role purpose: 


The purpose of the role of Pre-Sales Operations Manager is to lead and manage the pre-sales operations, sales support and tools needed to enable an effective sales across VOIS. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining a standardized framework that ensures consistency, efficiency, and scalability in sales operations in central GTM (Go to Market) team and across VOIS.

What you’ll do

Key accountabilities and decision ownership: 
Framework Development and Stewardship
•    Design and implement a structured framework that includes standardized processes, policies, tools and assets to be used in GTM team and across the organization
•    Lead the pre-sales activities and ensure that there is a coherent support model with associated tool.
•    Drive adoption of standardized processes, tools, and frameworks by providing training, documentation, and ongoing support.
•    Continuously assess and refine this framework to improve efficiency, collaboration, and adoption across GTM and Service Lines
Sales Pipeline Management
•    Develop and implement standardized processes for pipeline management, ensuring visibility into deal progress, sales cycle health, and forecasting accuracy.
•    Conduct weekly reviews of sales activities, working closely with sales teams and leadership to monitor performance, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.
•    Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on pipeline health, sales trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
•    Ensure sales teams adhere to pipeline hygiene best practices, including timely updates, opportunity qualification, and compliance with sales governance policies
Sales Tools Adoption
•    Identify and implement sales tools that cater to the needs of both GTM and Service Lines
•    Act as the interface between Sales, Commercial Management, Service Towers and IT Operations (the central tools team) on CRM and ensure VOIS needs are prioritised
Opportunity Qualification and Triage
•    Implement a qualification framework to assess the viability of opportunities, ensuring resources are focused on high-potential deals.
•    Establish triage processes to route opportunities to the appropriate Service Line or GTM team based on priority, complexity, and strategic alignment.
Collaboration with GTM and Service Towers
•    Partner with the GTM team to understand strategic sales initiatives and translate them into operational processes.
•    Work closely with Service Towers leaders to gather diverse requirements, ensuring that sales operations and support functions align with their specific needs while maintaining global consistency.

Who you are

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience including experience in sales operations and team leadership
  • A strong understanding of sales processes, key performance indicators and pipeline management
  • A good understanding of process design and continuous improvement
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across Service Towers, Sales and GTM
  • A understanding of CRM tools

 

Technical / professional qualifications: 

  • Degree or postgraduate business qualification 
  • Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Sales processes and pipeline experience
  • Experience in designing and presenting business dashboard
  • Advanced knowledge of the MS Suite
