About this Role

This role involves frequent travel to Romania.
We are seeking an individual who will support the central Project Management Office by ensuring projects are delivered in line with international standards. The role focuses on collecting and analysing project data, supporting governance, maintaining project management tools, and providing expert guidance to project and transition teams. The individual will play a key role in improving project success rates, ensuring efficient delivery, and maintaining consistent reporting across multiple portfolios.

What you will do

  • Collect and analyse data on project costs, returns, and performance to support decisions on continuation or prioritisation.
  • Maintain and update project management tools, methods, and a shared knowledge base to ensure standardisation across the organisation.
  • Act as an escalation point for transition managers, supporting them with governance, processes, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of project set-up and deliverables in the Clarity tool and other PMO systems.
  • Consolidate governance inputs, record decisions, maintain action logs, and support project assurance processes.
  • Develop and produce roadmap reports with the Head of PMO; present insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on templates, tools, KPIs and SLAs related to PMO operations, ensuring consistent reporting and compliance.
  • Hold regular reviews with stakeholders and provide ongoing status reporting to drive informed decision‑making.

Who you are

  • Experienced in IT/IS/telecom projects, with exposure to deployment or management of complex programmes considered an advantage.
  • Skilled in leading or supporting transformation activities and understanding ISO27001 standards (desired).
  • Proficient in English with strong communication, presentation, mentoring, and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Financially aware, with sound business acumen and multicultural sensitivity.
  • Holds a recognised project management certification such as PRINCE2.
  • Brings 5–8 years of relevant work experience, applying professional judgement in complex situations.
