Purchasing Specialist

 

Your role in a nutshell:

 

As a Purchasing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing quote and purchase order processing while supporting broader supply chain activities. You’ll play a key role in identifying operational issues and improvement opportunities, driving solutions with a project-oriented mindset. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help ensure efficient procurement processes and contribute to continuous improvement across the supply chain.

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

 

  • Manages and monitors purchase orders raised in supported local markets
  • Ensures accurate and timely data flow across systems, within set KPI timeframe to the most important supplier accounts
  • Processes and reconciles goods receipt notifications across systems to ensure timely payment of supplier invoices
  • Supplier onboarding coordination
  • Provides support to business partners in finding the best ways of solving process issues and sharing best practices.
  • Organize regular/ad-hoc conference calls and workshops with local markets, internal teams, suppliers
  • Actively suggest corrective actions
  • Prevent queries pro-actively, investigate issues’ root causes focusing on improvement ideas to avoid reoccurrence
  • Reviews, and amends existing internal process documentation. Identifies process gaps and addresses them as new demands to the technical support team

 

 

What you will bring to the team:

 

  • min 2. years of experience in supply chain or sourcing, preferably in the realm of SSC
  • fluency in English
  • a strong commercial acumen is desired
  • proficiency in SAP and great negotiation skills are highly valued
  • project management and time management skills are necessary for smooth execution and on-time delivery
