RAN Configuration Engineer

Your place in the team 

Support roll-out activities with implementing configuration changes 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G RAN equipment and services.

 

You will be involved in the following tasks  

•RAN site integration delivery process including the scheduling and execution of all planned and ad-hoc RAN configuration tasks and the related reporting.
•Make decision about the priorities of different tasks.
•Negotiate configuration requirements with network vendors, developers and/or other third parties.
•Close cooperation with mobile deployment project managers and the line manager of radio planning team in solving issues.
•Maintain actual site integration backlog, manage backlog items, 
•Support radio network modernization projects
•Act as a contact for any issues related to site integration or other RAN configuration works.
•Continuously improve his/her competence and technological knowledge in his/her area
•Invent, test, and implement new RAN parameter and hardware configurations.
•Test and implement new service-based configurations for all technologies.
•Prepare documentation for configuration related tasks.
•Solve technical problems against defined SLAs.
•Do regular network configuration and user activity logging,
•Participate HW/SW/feature acceptance tests.
•Maintain RAN SW (2G/4G/5G) fall-back concept.
•Serve regular and on demand in-house or external reporting requests.
•Design SPF free RAN configuration

We are looking for you if you have
•MSC or BSC grade
•Mobile telecommunication (GSM/UMTS/LTE/NR) system knowledge
•Familiarity with TCP/IP and application-level protocols
•Familiarity with (GSM/UMTS/LTE/NR) protocols
•Familiar with 5G-NR protocols and procedures
•Minimum of 2 years work experience in telecommunications
•Excellent understanding of the telecommunications market
•Technical experience in multinational companies and large matrix organisations
•Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment.
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
•Focused on timely delivery of results.
