RAN Radio Performance Engineer

for our Network Department

Your place in the team 

Solve and track the customer complaints and improve the performance of the 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G radio network on a daily basis.

You will be involved in the following tasks 

•Analyze and solve L2, L3 customer complains receiving from call center or other way
•Improve KPIs of the Radio Network based on network statistics, drive test measurements or customer complaints
•Investigate network problems and drive the technical solution to the proper team
•Indicates parameter-changes
•Frequency planning (individual cell frequency planning, verify effect of the new frequency plan)
•PCI, SC, Neighbor planning (individual cell planning, verify effect of the new or modified plan)
•Provide KPI reports of the radio network to the management at VF-HU
•Provide initial parameters for new sites
•Fine-tune BTS/ NodeB/eNodeB/gNodeB/BSC/RNC parameters
•Provide expertise for inter-team procedure design and fine-tuning

We are looking for you if you have 

•A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications/electronic engineering or equivalent
•3 to 5 years post qualifying experience in the cellular/telephony field preferably Radio Network Performance.
•Statistical Analyses and Mathematics background is preferred.
•Experience with network analyzing and design tools.
•Familiarity in Access and Oracle databases; SQL, Visual Basic, Excel programming
•Optimization experience in a live network, knowledge of Huawei equipment and features is an advantage.
•Experience in parameter planning, knowledge of the RF planning tools and equipment is an advantage.
