Your place in the team 

The mission of the Data Team within Vodafone Finance Department is to turn the company into an AI and Data driven organization that serves best our customers and outperforms the competition.

As an experienced member of the Data&Analytics team, you should support business users with state-of-the-art reporting solutions that enable them to focus on insights and efficient data driven decision-making.  
Maintaining a strong cooperation with Business Partners within Data team, you are expected to be an advocate of innovative reporting services and within that concept also provided technical knowledge sharing to the business users regarding new solutions provided by the Data&Analytics Team.  Support the development of Vodafone’s self-care BI tool. Take part in specifications, planning, development and testing of new report/dashboard/information creation processes. 

You will be involved in the following tasks  
•Create data warehouse based standard KPI reports for all departments and the management team
•Design, develop, and implement advanced visualization applications and executive-level interactive, automated dashboards in Vodafone’s BI tool (Qlik Sense) that provide actionable information for the business users
•Apply the latest visualization best practices regarding dashboard development
•Manage and perform ad-hoc reporting to empower all Vodafone Hungary with information needed for a more effective decision making
•Participate in projects and transformation programs and provide high quality deliverables
•Take part in data development projects of Data Warehouse from business users’ point of view
•Recommend, drive processes and manage Vodafone’s new BI server (iReport)
•Always stick to Vodafone’s customer data protection policy

 

We are looking for you if you have 
•1-4 years Data reporting/Data Visualization/BI/Data analyst experience (Telco industry is an advantage)
•Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Economics or similar)
•Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
•Ability to work independently, proactively and precisely
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team
•Fast learning and adjusting skills
•Medium level English in written and oral 

•Written and oral knowledge of Hungarian

 

Technical skills, experience

•Knowledge about different Data Storage technologies (Oracle, Google Cloud Platform is an advantage) from reporting aspects
•Medium level in query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig (advance level nice to have)
•Hands on experience in leading Data Visualization tools (Qlik or Power BI medium level expected - advanced level preferred, Looker, Data Studio, Tableau, Spotfire etc. are nice to have)
•Experience in SAP Business Objects
