About this Role

We are seeking a Roaming Contract Manager to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of roaming and interconnect agreements, including travel SIM, sponsored roaming, and discount contracts. Based in Budapest, this role is pivotal in drafting, negotiating, and executing commercial and legal terms with third-party operators, MVNOs, and Vodafone markets. The individual will proactively manage contract performance, ensure compliance, and mitigate risks while driving innovation and standardisation across the contract management framework.
 

What you will do

  • Lead all contract-related activities across VRS, prioritising tasks and securing stakeholder approvals.
  • Draft, negotiate, and execute roaming and interconnect agreements with external partners.
  • Ensure inclusion of critical clauses (e.g. sanctions, anti-bribery, fraud) to protect VRS from legal and commercial risks.
  • Oversee contract performance, including service delivery, revenue assurance, and SLA compliance.
  • Manage relationships and communications with contracting parties, including escalations via the Central Roaming Inbox team.
  • Continuously improve the contract management framework through standardisation, digitalisation, and automation.
  • Propose industry-wide contract standards for emerging services such as VoLTE, LPWA, and 5G.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced contract managers as needed.
