About this Role

 

 

We are seeking a Safety, Health and Wellbeing Specialist to lead and coordinate SHW activities across VOIS Hungary. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with local legislation and Vodafone Group standards, managing risk reduction initiatives, and supporting the delivery of SHW strategies. The individual will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers, provide technical guidance, and represent the company in SHW matters with authorities.
 
 

What you will do

 

 

  • Lead occupational safety prevention and protection processes within VOIS Hungary.
  • Collaborate with external SHW suppliers to enhance compliance and performance.
  • Provide technical and professional guidance on SHW issues across all business areas.
  • Monitor and ensure timely delivery of SHW action plans and incident responses.
  • Develop and implement training programmes tailored to identified risks.
  • Coordinate SHW incident investigations and define preventive actions.
  • Review and support programmes controlling key risks in company operations.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with Vodafone SHW requirements, including high-risk project reviews.
  • Represent VOIS Hungary in SHW matters with authorities and during audits.
  • Prepare SHW communications and training agendas, including New Hire Orientation.
  • Manage legal documentation related to health and safety.
  • Participate in local and global SHW-related projects and initiatives.
 
 

Who you are

 

 

  • Strong attention to detail, strategic thinking, and project management capabilities.
  • Skilled in stakeholder communication, mediation, and persuasive presentation.
  • Advanced proficiency in English and MS Office.
  • Experience with continuous improvement systems (PDCA) and non-conformity management.
  • Familiarity with Vodafone’s “Doing What’s Right” standards is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply local health and safety legislation.
  • Experience in supplier management and risk assessment techniques.
  • Auditor-level skills in synthesis and reporting.
  • Minimum post-university education in occupational safety.
  • Certifications in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, or ISO 45001 are advantageous.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate and internal auditor training are considered a plus.
