About this role
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Solutions team in Budapest. This role is pivotal in managing customer demand projects, analysing data sources, and delivering reporting solutions that meet business needs. The individual will act as a single point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with Business Stakeholders and Digital Teams. The role involves requirement management, system analysis, and performance optimisation of web-based applications.
What you’ll do
- Capture and manage demand requests for new reporting solutions across local markets and Group functions.
- Design outputs and propose data sources/models for VP&C Device reporting.
- Improve usability and performance of web-based applications.
- Track project lifecycle pillars and progress, highlighting risks and proposing mitigation plans.
- Build, test, and present new reporting packs and data models.
- Ensure reporting processes are effective and well-received across Vodafone.
- Support project team activities and maintain up-to-date design documentation.
Who you are
- 3–5 years of experience in business modelling, reporting, analysis, or business partnering.
- Strong understanding of ETL tools and data mapping applications.
- Experienced with project management tools (MS Projects, JIRA, Confluence).
- Proficient in Agile project environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive attitude and attention to detail.
- Advantageous: Knowledge of MS SQL, PL SQL, Python, VBA, telco standards, and PMI/Prince2 or Safe Agile certification.
