Your place in the team
Would you like to work on the Next Generation BI Platform and participate in the design, build and implementation phase of scalable BI and Big Data applications? Whether you are an experienced Data Engineer, or a software engineer who wants to become one, we can provide you with the challenge to work on interesting tasks, coding databases and find out the data strategies of the company. Our BI team is looking for talented and passionate Data Engineers with strong technical and business systems backgrounds.
You will be involved in the following tasks
•Opportunity to create advanced data solutions from the ground up
•Participates in every aspect of development and implementation
•Design, build and develop Vodafone anonymization framework in a Python and Google environment
•Maintain, monitor and optimize the anonymization architecture and processes
•Integrate anonymization logic into connected systems
•Design, build and launch new data extraction, transformation and loading processes
•Design and develop interfaces between the source and BI systems
•Design and develop data mappings and ETL scripts
•Create and maintain technical documentation, contribute to manuals and documentation for the users
•Estimate the development effort by requirements and projects
•Work in teams using various development methodologies – agile (SCRUM), waterfall.
•Ensure compliance with Vodafone policies and procedures
We are looking for you if you have
•IT specific university degree OR developer qualification
•5+ year experience including Data Engineering, Database Engineering, within with a technology company
•3+ years experience in Python development specially for data manipulation
•Experience in large file handling in Unix and Python environment
•Experience in encryption logics, Google AEAD is a plus
•Strong data architecture, data integration and data manipulation experience
•Experience designing and operating large Data Warehouses
•Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and database modelling
•Experience working on projects within the cloud ideally on GCP
•Good knowledge of English both spoken and written
•Track record for quickly learning new technologies
