The role:
Reporting into the Head of Digital Sales & Marketing_VOIS, the Senior Manager, Sales Execution Digital Sales_VOIS will be responsible for delivering a world class sales execution engine to drive the growing participation and relevance of Digital Sales within Vodafone Business. With a focus on day-to-day operational excellence the role holder will ensure that mandated sales methodologies are implemented across the business and will support the Regional Sales leads take the necessary actions to achieve a consistent approach.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Drives sales transformation across all lines of business using data-driven business insight to improve sales performance.
• Quarterly reviews of sales efficiency & effectiveness metrics to provide structural recommendations to Head of Sales and wider regional sales teams to improve performance
• Be a full participant in the Sales cadence process and support the sales teams in complex deal management orchestrating the necessary resource to support the transaction
• Engage with Sales Operations to develop an agile and informative management system with relevant KPIs and balanced scorecard
• Lead transformational projects including expansion into the B&C offering set and market coverage model changes
• Identify and drive continuous improvement, cost efficiencies, business intelligence and process automation across the organisation as we scale
• Proactively review market, strategic and marketing content to whitespace accounts/markets so new customer opportunities identified and exploited
• Ensure consistent application of mandated sales methodologies across all teams
• Collaborate with L&D to create the necessary ongoing enablement plans to drive sales team capability and to accelerate B&C knowledge
• Implement a continuous improvement mindset and seek out opportunities to drive further efficiencies in the operating model
• Identify inhibitors to Sales team success and create SMART action plans to remove them
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to support business development plans
• Personally own the resolution of material customer or operational challenges each quarter that are outside of the remit of any single function in the Sell / Build / Run model
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Technical expert in the fields of data science, commercial and finance
• Ability to understand and interpret complex, unstructured and conflicting data and convert to actionable insight for Sales Leaders
• Simple, clear and effective communicator at all levels up to Director level
• Significant influence and gravitas
• Resilience to excel in a high pressure environment
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• Languages other than English beneficial but not essential.
• Extensive knowledge of MS suite, Salesforce.com and emerging analytics tools
• Clear evidence of success in a Commercial or Finance business partnering role
