Your role in a nutshell:
This exciting new role will see you working closely with the VOIS Digital Sales Leadership team in our Northern Europe markets & our local and global Sales Operations team to set the standard for global sales operations success; driving the right sales behaviors for operational excellence and sales performance success.
The purpose of this role is to devise and lead the strategic Sales Operations plan for this market, a plan that maximizes sales growth. Key objectives of this role include driving sales performance management via the setting of challenging sales targets, owning business forecasting, delivering actionable insights and setting the appropriate sales cadence that results in operational efficiency and measurable effectiveness.
You and your team of Sales operations analysts play a pivotal role in the success of the Northern European Sales team performance. You will work closely with the Regional Sales Leaders and Sales teams in these markets, supporting management in strategic, business and operational planning and ensuring decisions are in line with Vodafone Business sales organization approach. You will provide business analytics to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth. You will lead operational reviews to drive decision making and review progress on goals and priorities.
In this role you will be reporting to the Digital Sales Operations & Excellence Manager, who reports to VOIS Head of Commercial Operations. Your team works closely and cross functionally with the Sales Leaders and Managers, Finance Operations, Business Operations, HR, Finance Business Partners and the wider Commercial Operations team.

What you’ll do:
Sales Performance Insights and Strategy steering:
• You and your team are responsible for building a comprehensive suite of reporting and analytics to assess trading performance and guide sales operations and sales strategy
• Monitor and track performance against weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, taking pride in explaining success in the “what” and also the “why”.
• You will work closely with your sales regional leaders and managers in each market to build accurate forecasts and pipeline analysis.
• Have a deep understanding of the market and products, and use this to drive a better understanding of the business performance and life cycles via in dept analysis.
• Responsible for building campaign dashboards and reporting. Subsequently responsible for providing objective analysis and insight through Post Campaign Reviews.
• Drive the highest standard in data maintenance and hygiene. Keep data in the systems up-to-date (e.g. allocations, hierarchy, opportunity management)
• Be a subject matter expert in data visualization, sales methodologies, commissions, big data analytics, etc.
• Presentation and storytelling the team’s sales performance and insight to key stakeholders, with the ability to influence using this data.
Sales Compensation Strategy and Planning:
• You and your team will lead the annual/quarterly Sales Compensation planning cycle for Northern European sales team.
• Responsible for the co-ordination and roll-out of annual/quarterly target letters to all sellers across the sales region. Ensure they are deployed accurately and efficiently.
• Working cross functionally with Finance Operations and HR to ensure our Sales Compensation plans are in line with our Sales Compensation Governance.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills. Strong decision making skills, able to identify key business issues and balance conflicting interest
• Experience managing a high performing team of professionals.
• Exceptional experience working in sales and customer support levels (e.g. Sales, Sales Operations, Business Operations, Customer Support), with first-hand experience in defining Go to Market Sales models, Sales Territory Planning & Account Allocation, Sales Forecasting, Sales Target setting and Sales Commission design and implementation, experience of implementing new processes, tools and systems a distinct advantage, as is experience of working in Digital Sales.
• Advanced experience in data analysis, interpretation, reporting and presentation of findings. Advanced analytical skills, comfortable working with large volumes of data and experience working with corporate data warehouses, with experience of Salesforce, advanced excel, SQL, Power BI or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the digital telecommunications and ICT environment, ideally mobile, fixed and IT solutions experience
• Experience in designing KPI’s, designing dashboards and working with Business Analytics teams to build automated dashboards.
• Excellent communication skills; able to convey understanding and earn respect across key stakeholders in Enterprise, especially at senior management and SLT which includes stakeholder management within a matrix organisation
