About this Role

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Team Leader to oversee Supply Chain Management (SCM) operations at VOIS. Based in Budapest, Hungary, this role is responsible for aligning procurement strategies with business needs, driving operational excellence, and leading a high-performing team. The individual will act as a key business partner, ensuring stakeholder engagement, compliance, and the successful execution of sourcing and contract governance activities.

What you will do

  • Represent business needs in procurement planning and execution, ensuring alignment with finance and operational goals.
  • Drive demand management practices to optimise cost, quality, and delivery outcomes.
  • Implement VOIS and VPC procurement strategies to support business performance.
  • Communicate supply chain vision and strategy across centres and business lines.
  • Influence cost structures and demand to enable structural change and savings.
  • Ensure governance for key suppliers and contracts, including strategic vendor management.
  • Collaborate with peers to identify and deliver best practices and synergy benefits.
  • Lead and develop SCM teams, fostering a culture of coaching, mentoring, and talent development.

Who you are

  • Experienced in SCM, procurement, and business partnering within telecommunications or ITES sectors.
  • Skilled in strategic planning, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing teams within a matrix organisation.
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator with cross-functional thinking.
  • Holds a graduate degree (MBA or master’s preferred) with 10–12 years of relevant experience.
  • Drive implementation of supply chain systems and tools aligned with Vodafone’s Digital and Simplification Agenda.
  • Ensure compliance with customs operations and legal processes across VOIS EU centres.
