About this Role
What you will do
- Represent business needs in procurement planning and execution, ensuring alignment with finance and operational goals.
- Drive demand management practices to optimise cost, quality, and delivery outcomes.
- Implement VOIS and VPC procurement strategies to support business performance.
- Communicate supply chain vision and strategy across centres and business lines.
- Influence cost structures and demand to enable structural change and savings.
- Ensure governance for key suppliers and contracts, including strategic vendor management.
- Collaborate with peers to identify and deliver best practices and synergy benefits.
- Lead and develop SCM teams, fostering a culture of coaching, mentoring, and talent development.
Who you are
- Experienced in SCM, procurement, and business partnering within telecommunications or ITES sectors.
- Skilled in strategic planning, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing teams within a matrix organisation.
- Excellent communicator and negotiator with cross-functional thinking.
- Holds a graduate degree (MBA or master’s preferred) with 10–12 years of relevant experience.
- Drive implementation of supply chain systems and tools aligned with Vodafone’s Digital and Simplification Agenda.
- Ensure compliance with customs operations and legal processes across VOIS EU centres.
