Senior UX/UI Designer

 

Your role in a nutshell:

 

As a Senior UX/UI at VOIS, your primary focus will be on leading the creation of best-in-class user experiences that set the standard for quality and usability. You will masterfully balance both UX and UI design, demonstrating equal expertise in understanding user needs and creating visually compelling interfaces. You'll take ownership of complex projects and mentor fellow designers, conducting thorough user research and translating those insights into exceptional design solutions. You will transform user needs into intuitive interfaces, designing user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and interactive prototypes. Your expertise will shape the user journey, ensuring our products are both functional and delightful, ultimately driving the success of our offerings and the satisfaction of our diverse user base.
 


What you’ll do:

 

  • Conduct and lead thorough user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points, translating insights into actionable design solutions. 
  • Design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that prioritize ease of use and accessibility, navigating complex global organizational environments. 
  • Create pixel-perfect, high-fidelity mock-ups and interactive prototypes that showcase the final user interface. 
  • Implement WCAG accessibility guidelines to make our products usable by everyone, demonstrating a deep understanding of inclusive design principles. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure designs align with business goals and user needs. 
  • Develop, implement, and maintain style guides and complex design systems independently, ensuring consistency across all deliverables. 


What you’ll bring to the team:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI and Product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and proven examples of released features/functions of existing products. 
  • A degree in design, design management, psychology, human-computer interaction, or applicable experience. 
  • A deep understanding of user-centred design principles and a passion for creating intuitive and accessible experiences, with the ability to be the user-centred design advocate in your squad. 
  • Expert-level competency in both UI and UX fields, with the ability to craft visually compelling interfaces that enhance usability. 
  • Advanced familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines, demonstrating a commitment to designing inclusive products. 
  • Proficiency with design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability in your work, with the ability to organize design files in a systematic way. 
  • Expert-level skills in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as knowledge of current web, mobile, and service design standards and methodologies.
