About this role
We are seeking a Contract Specialist to join our Legal team in Budapest for a fixed term until 31 May 2026. This role is focused on providing expert contracting support across the full lifecycle of commercial agreements, including drafting, negotiation, closure, and implementation. The individual will act as a single point of contact for the Spanish market and contribute to continuous process improvement, risk mitigation, and training of junior colleagues.
What you’ll do
- Deliver expert support in drafting, negotiating, executing, and implementing contracts across various deal types.
- Lead and manage contract roll-outs, including project management and closure activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the contracting process.
- Provide contract management support to ensure revenue targets are met while minimising risks.
- Develop standardised local agreements, templates, and training materials.
- Define and enforce negotiation strategies in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Act as the single point of contact for the Spanish market.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
Who you are
- Have 3+ years of experience in commercial and contracting law, or 2+ years in commercial, contracting, and telecommunications law.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of commercial and contract law.
- Possess a degree in business or economics.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Skilled in contract management and commercial legal practices.
- Proficient in MS Office and project management.
- Analytical, reliable, proactive, and able to solve problems effectively.
- Strong communicator with influencing and negotiation skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
