Strategic Operations Programmes Lead

 

 

Role purpose: 


Within Device Operations Supply Chain function, the Lead for Strategic Operations Programmes is accountable for the set-up, delivery and performance measurement of cross-functional, complex and strategic to SLT level projects in the area of Device Operations, projects with financial impact on the company (such as: working capital improvement, efficiency gains, automation and process rationalisation). Moreover, the role holder will play a key role in implementation and monitoring of Commercial Ops & Enablement governance and act as vertical facilitator of Agile Ways of Working across Operations teams in VPC, VOIS and Local Markets.

 

 

What you’ll do:


•    Successfully engage in multiple cross-functional Commercial Ops & Enablement projects simultaneously (such as Working Capital improvement initiative or roll out self-billing initiative across suppliers)
•    Ensure proper project setup, carefully involves necessary stakeholders (internal and external) and ensure compliance with the Kanban & Agile methodology 
•    Ensure proper and regular usage of tools, like project charter, meeting minutes, risk management tool, project timing, workshops, etc.
•    Drive and challenge project team on their assumptions of how the project will be successfully executed
•    Deep understanding of business need, business case (both benefits, expenses, investments) operational requirements and technical solutions
•    Ensure project transparency via visible leadership and proactive communication
•    Make decision regarding issue categorization and necessary escalation
•    Provide e2e project reporting (documentation according to internal rules, progress reports and status updates, project status senior management team)
•    Support Operations Team governance and internal communication (team meetings, team presentations, regular management reporting, etc.)
•    Support other functions in project management

 


What you will bring to the team:


•    Fluent English knowledge 
•    Experienced in methods and concepts of complex transformation programmes, as well as in programme and project management 
•    Acting in a flexible, agile way, with changing priorities and multiple relevant topics at the same time
•    Capable to define roadmaps, express complex circumstances in simple language
•    Confident to discussions with senior leaders, with good communication skills and proficient ways of expressing
•    Able to work independently, quickly understand the core of the subject and driving the necessary actions / resolution
