Strategic Partner Operations Specialist

 

 

 

 

Your role in a nutshell:

 

The Strategic Partner Operations Specialist will oversee global operations for strategic partners. They will ensure compliance with partnership contracts and manage operational relationships within the Vodafone Business product operating model or during onboarding. The role includes defining global partnerships and go-to-market strategies, leading governance to support Vodafone Business success, and implementing a matrix organization across markets and functions, including legal, finance, and HR. Develop a consistent Go-To-Market strategy in collaboration with partners and the Vodafone Opco/sales organisation, ensuring that opportunities for joint solutions are clearly identified. Sales Enablement plans for the joint solution and account engagement strategy.
Additionally, manage key projects within the Partnerships team to establish a more structured approach to collaborations. This includes leveraging the key benefits from our partners, ranging from funding to partner certification, and enhancing product profitability through partner incentives. 

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

 

  • Lead the partnership operational engagement and governance with Partners for Vodafone Business.
  • Develop personal relationships with the Operational counter parts within the organisation and sales leadership of partner both at headquarters and local operating countries.
  • Lead and Define a Global partner operational strategy that will enhance our sales capability and enable significant growth for our business
  • Develop Joint GTM Initiatives to Drive increased revenue
  • “Sell to / Sell with and sell through” plan definition
  • Enhance operational efficiency
  • Define, track and communicate key quantitative metrics for the partnership and adapt partner plans
  • Contribute to the development of a joint marketing plan
  • Define a risk management plan to assure the partnership success
  • Define and implement cross-BU best-practices for that partnership based on collaboration with cross-functional areas and markets
  • Define and implement the Global Governance for each partnership which will include:
    o    Manage the operational cadence for the monthly quarterly business reviews, and monthly global interlock with account management 
    o    Internal cross-function coordination mechanisms to implement strategic plans
    o    Primary point of contact for the operational side of the partnership
    o    Recommendations to partner classification proposal, re-evaluated regularly
  • Build and manage scalable partner operational programs 
    o    Including partner accreditations, funding management or any other partner resource management to maximise value from partnership.  Accountable critical partner accreditations.  

 

 

What you’ll bring to the team:

 

 

  • Min. 5+ years Project/Program management or Partner Management Experience, reporting on Key KPI and commercial performance

  • Governance and quality assurance experience (desired)

  • In depth Telecom market knowledge (desired)

  • Previous partnerships experience is an advantage

  • Experience in managing virtual project teams

  • Ability to deliver in quality and on time

  • Strong decision-making capability. The ability to balance conflicting priorities and strong, individual personalities

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills up to C-level
