About this Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Supply Planner to join our Network Logistics team in Budapest. This role plays a pivotal part in executing tactical and operational supply chain planning, ensuring alignment with Vodafone’s strategic goals. The individual will work within the Demand and Supply Planning function, a new digital capability built on the Network Stock Solution (NSS) and SAP IBP cloud integration. The role involves managing material and capacity constraints, identifying risks, and ensuring exception management and resolution in line with Vodafone Procurement Company (VPC) strategies.
 

What you will do

  • Develop and monitor predefined supply plans, considering supplier commitments and budget constraints.
  • Check returns inventory and material availability via Asset Marketplace.
  • Support allocation and prioritisation of materials and capacity.
  • Share monthly material requirement forecasts with suppliers and identify risks.
  • Participate in Supplier Review and Collaborative Forecasting meetings, providing performance insights and co-developing solutions.
  • Set inventory targets, control stock levels, and analyse aged or at-risk inventory.
  • Identify and resolve supply plan exceptions, escalate where necessary, and implement process improvements.
  • Collaborate across functions to ensure alignment with VPC strategies and business priorities.

Who you are

  • A professional with 5+ years of experience in supply chain-related roles.
  • Preferably a graduate from an engineering discipline.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Skilled in managing changes under pressure and integrating cross-functional inputs into demand forecasts.
  • Capable of balancing customer service, working capital, asset utilisation, and cost to achieve optimal planning outcomes.
