IT Application Specialist

for our BSS Center Department

Your place in the team 

Understands and translate business requirements into system functions and processes and also acts as technical owner of a set of applications in the BSS domain. Has ultimate business and technical competence in his/her fields and assures the continuous and secure development and configuration of these systems with the support of the external parties. Also responsible to build new capabilities within the BSS domain to support smooth business and technical operation.

You will be involved in the following tasks 

•Participates in the preparation of high-level technical proposal and provide expertise into the various areas of solution architecture.
•Understands the business needs and implications of new services and translate them into detailed IT requirements.
•Creates SW architecture for the owned and newly created application in line with Enterprise architecture design.
•Negotiates functional and technical feasibility of requirements with systems suppliers, developers and/or other third parties.
•Provides estimate regarding quotations, resource needs and feasible delivery dates.
•Compiles technical concepts for the fulfillment of the demands.
•Acts as a Single Point of Contact Person for his/her systems who assembles IT Architecture and Service Delivery side requirements.
•Ensures quality of the delivered solutions
•Participates in the delivery of tasks, enhancements and IT Development projects (in accordance with the valid project management methodology)
•Supports the work of the IT Architecture team.
•Builds solutions internally where applicable.
•Continuous lifecycle monitoring of owned application to be always in line with local policies, contracts, support plans and Cyber Security initiatives.
•Continuously improves his/her competence and technological knowledge in her/his area.
•Participates in agile tribes/chapters during agile developments, when applicable.

We are looking for you if you have 

•IT or Telco specific BSC/MSC
•Fluent English (Oral and written)
•At least 4 years working experience
•At least 2 years of experience in IT development industry, preferably telco sector
•IT Systems / Software development lifecycle involved testing knowledge is required
•Technological knowlege in: Telco BSS & Network processes, SQL
•Nice-to-have SW development skills: Java, SQL, noSQL, Python, JS, Cloud technologies, containerization, microservices
