Tax Accountant - All Level

We are looking for new colleagues at both junior and experienced levels
to join our Indirect and Direct Tax teams.

 

Your role in a nutshell:

 

You will be part of our international VAT or Direct Tax Team, which support tax-related reporting in Europe.


What you’ll do:


•    Ensure end-to-end VAT compliance with full ownership, including preparation / review of VAT returns
•    Prepare VAT or Direct Tax related reports, calculations, and analysis
•    Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and manage actions of open items
•    Participate in month-end closing procedure and tax accounting
•    Support the local businesses and other finance departments in VAT or Direct Tax related matters
•    Support internal and external tax audits, advise on VAT treatment
•    Review and maintain SAP tax background tables settings and master data
•    Ensure internal and external control processes (SOX)
•    Follow-up and implement legal changes
•    Ad-hoc and complex issue resolution
•    Meet all reporting deadlines (KPIs & SLAs)

 

What you’ll bring to the team:


•    Experience and/or knowledge in tax and/or accounting field
•    Knowledge of tax accounting principles
•    BsC or higher qualification in economics, finance, or accounting
•    Fluent English language knowledge
•    Solid knowledge of European VAT and corresponding filing requirements
•    Strong Excel and data analytics skill set
•    Good stakeholder management skills
•    Positive self-starter willing to learn new skills and understand the business
