Senior Tax Accountant

Your role in a nutshell:

To extract and analyze accounting data for tax purposes. To prepare tax calculations and returns, check tax adjustments, payments and returns. To prepare tax reports for local lax teams based around the world.

What you'll do:

• Requires a higher level of tax and accounting knowledge; may develop into a subject matter expert role.
• Works with a high degree of independence and will typically be responsible for providing tax services to a Vodafone Operating Company.
• Gives professional guidance to other members of the tax team.
• Helps the team resolve daily issues, raising tickets and solving daily problems.
• Reviews the current processes and suggests improvements/ more efficient ways.
• Support the implementation and testing of new automated reporting solutions.
• Provides tax training to other teams.
• Liaises with local market tax teams.
• Ensures SOX controls are adhered to.
• Monitors timetable for tax return tasks and submissions.
• Prepares internal and external reporting for Group, Local market, Tax Authority or statutory audit purposes.
• Provides assistance with planning and documenting migration of processes
