About this role

As a Tax Accountant in our Direct Tax team, you will extract and analyse accounting data for tax purposes, prepare tax calculations and returns, and verify tax adjustments, payments, and filings. You will also contribute to preparing reports for local tax teams across the globe.

What you’ll do

  • Maintain master data, including commodity codes, weights, tax classifications, and VAT numbers.
  • Respond to ad hoc queries from various business areas regarding tax coding in the ERP system.
  • Ensure vendor invoices comply with tax requirements before postingPrepare manual tax adjustments for data not recorded in ERP systems.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve open account items.
  • Monitor tax rates and related settings within the ERP system.

  • Possess a solid understanding of fundamental tax principles
  • Skilled at multitasking and managing priorities effectively
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Highly customer-focused and service-minded
  • Fluent in English
