Telecommunication Engineer (Convergent Charging)

Your place in the team 

•To satisfy local marketing requirements in the area of Charging Services including Prepaid Charging, CRP, ECL systems.
•To define, design and implement innovative solutions in the area of Charging Services to cope with marketing requirements or technology evolution.
•To coordinate and manage vendor activities during the project deployment
•To grant the testing process to ensure the appropriate quality in the delivery phase, delivering high quality products and solutions
•To drive Charging Services features and platform evolution, through harmonization & hosting projects..
•To grant Charging Services features through architecture support and capacity planning based on traffic needs

You will be involved in the following tasks 

•Solutions Design & Implementation, including: 
   -feasibility to determine costs and timeframe: Prepare feasibility studies and define solution design & integration requirements in order to offer new or modified services in accordance to the Charging Services architectural standardization
   -in-house software developments on internal integration platforms; maintain and support in-house development source code
   -manage the delivery of small to medium sized projects (local or cross country) from start to finish
   -certification & testing activities: Perform acceptance testing, negotiate with appropriate stakeholders
   -post deployment support
•Vendor selection, management and engagement 
•Contribute to the Messaging and VAS architecture definition & perform dimensioning activities (capacity planning) 
•Other BAU activities (e.g. supporting operations of existing platforms, updating documentations, etc.)

We are looking for you if you have 

•Relevant degree 
•High level of written and spoken English
•Ability to understand marketing needs and reference market evolution
•Experience with managing complex and inter-functional projects
•Knowledge of telecoms technologies, in particular technical skills related to Charging Services, Core Network, IP Services
•Knowledge of telecoms technologies, in particular technical skills on:
   -API integration development 
   -Java / Java EE
   -XML / XSD
   -Web Services (including WSDL SOAP, RESTful, JSON)
   -HTML/CSS/Javascript
   -Bash/Any scripting language
   -Oracle/SQL
   -Ability to understand marketing needs and reference market evolution
   -Strong experience managing complex and inter functional projects
