Your place in the team
Test expert is responsible to execute functional tests and to ensure that test instances are fulfilling business expectations with any unknown, not administered discrepancies. Test expert could select the best way to execute a test case and find work around to achieve testing goals. During test execution junior test expert and/or business testers must be guided by this role.
You will be involved in the following tasks
Test Execution
-Capable to execute test cases in Waterfall teams and in Agile squads
-Confirmation that the system under test is compliant with all the gathered business requirements
-Execute business tests (sanity, UAT, live test and in special cases FUT) according to test calendar
-Able to work alone and act as single testing role in Agile squads
-Guide business testers during UAT
-Mentoring junior test experts and validate their work
-Look for work around solutions wherever a blocking fault appears that hindering test execution
-Administer every discrepancies from expected results and the results of test instances in test management tool
-Maintain and update test cases in test management tool
-Investigate side effects of defect fixes and execute holistic change related test (retest and regression) with proper administration in test management tool
Defect management
-Entering and tracking of UAT defects in test management tool
-Link defect to relevant test cases
-Validate defects with test analysts and/or business parties
-According to business validation and defect’s business effect flag showstopper issues
-Represent business request and functionality during defect review meetings and on every communication channels
-Help and support delivery team to investigate defect’s root cause and in troubleshooting
-Determine side effects of fixes and cover them with test cases during retest
Product Lifecycle and Product Offering Catalogue testing
-Set up test calendar for product testing purposes
-Fulfil product tests and highlight deviation to product expert
-Retest product fixes
-Administer promo tests and defects in test management tool
Reporting
-Support daily test status preparation by providing information about project’s test status and highlighting key issues
-Support defect manager and/or defect triage lead by providing information about defects and emphasize their side effects if there is any
-Report promo test status to product expert/lead
Knowledge sharing
-Provide defect details to CC coordinators and ATST team
-Share work around possibilities with CC coordinators and ATST team
-In a unified testing role capable to share knowledge with agile squad members
We are looking for you if you have
-Completed or ongoing IT BSC/ MSC degree
-ISTQB CTFL certification
-ISTQB CTFL agile extension certification
-5+ years of experience of acceptance or integration test execution
-5+ years of experience with JIRA and/or HP lifecycle application management systems
-5+ years of experience of mobile or fixed line operation in a multinational company
-Fluent English and Native Hungarian

-Able to overview complex IT architectures and system level cooperation
-Able to understand IT issues and translate them into business process effects
-Able to translate business requests onto (IT) system level
-Capable of resolving conflicts
-Team player
-Good analytical and strategic skills and focus
-Good interpersonal and influencing skills
-Strategic outlook, attention to detail
-Excellent presentation, written and verbal communications skills
-Proactive, can work individually but very good team player
-Able to synthesize complicated concepts and to simplify the complex issues
