Your place in the team 

Owner of this position is mainly responsible for design, development and optimisation of Voice Core Network related Platforms (HLR, HSS, AUC, MNP, UDM, UDR, STP, DRA, IMS Core, SBC nodes, Legacy Voice Core nodes) of Vodafone Hungary in close cooperation with different business units providing high quality solutions to ensure customers satisfaction following Network Engineering guidance and local business requirements.
Manage all development and operational tasks in the Voice Core Network area, coordinate the capacity and financial aspects of this Network area.

You will be involved in the following tasks  

The Voice Core Network Senior Expert will be responsible for managing capacity, end of life/support, risk register, appropriate certification, and licensing.


Management of Core Network 

oEnsure proper and timely engineering, design, testing, dimensioning and configuration of local Voice Core including:
    •HLR, HSS, AUC, MNP, UDM, UDR
    •i-STP, c-STP
    •DRA
    •IMS Core, i-SBC
    •Legacy Voice Core NEW (MSS, MGW)
    •Lawful Interception
    •Signalling Network
    •Data roaming network


Cooperation with different internal and external business units

    •General support of NWCS Teams and local business units
    •Creating and analysing Technical Requirement Specification and High Level Design.
    •Implementing technical solutions to realize technology and marketing demands.
    •General technical support of Customer Care.
    •Support operations team in daily troubleshooting, problem resolution.


System specification, vendor selection, supplier liaison

    •Follow-up and act according to new HW/SW versions and roadmaps
    •Compiling Low Level Design and System Integration document.
    •Vendor management during project delivery.
    •Project coordination with vendors and project managers.


Voice Core Network / system integration
    •Coordinate and perform integration work.
    •Preparation of acceptance test documentation.
    •Execute acceptance tests.
    •Service documentation and handover to operations team.

We are looking for you if you have 

•Highly capable, motivated, and articulate Senior Expert to ensure that Network development is planned and delivered effectively
•Pragmatic person with a proven record of leading multiple complex work streams in parallel
•Experience working closely service teams
•Significant experience Voice Core Networks and Telco protocols, development focused on product quality, customer delivery and improving customer experience
•MSc or BSc level qualification in Telecommunications Engineering
•Fluent English and Hungarian
•Ability to understand marketing needs and reference market evolution
•Strong experience managing complex and inter functional projects
•Deep knowledge of Voice Core Network Platforms and Services
