About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Packet Core Solution Architect to lead the design, planning, and technical consultancy for PS/EPC projects across legacy and virtualised environments. The individual will be responsible for delivering packet core solutions, managing multi‑stakeholder engagements, and ensuring seamless integration of new technologies. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong expertise in mobile networks, virtualisation, and cross‑functional collaboration.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the technical assessment, planning, and design of packet core solutions aligned with strategic architecture and product catalogues.
  • Capture and analyse business and customer requirements to determine technical feasibility.
  • Manage virtual technology teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across business, technology, and operational units. 
  • Serve as the primary technical representative during solution design and implementation activities. 
  • Evaluate and recommend innovative technologies and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. 
  • Provide technical guidance and consultancy for complex issues, supporting project team members. 

Who you are

  • Extensive experience (7+ years) in Packet Core/EPC technologies.
  • Strong project management capabilities and a proven record of delivering telecom solutions.
  • Solid background in GSM, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies, as well as SIP, R4, IMS, and AS protocols.
  • Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Ericsson, Huawei, and virtualised core platforms (OpenStack, VMware).
  • Strong understanding of software development and automation tools (e.g., C++, Python, Ansible). 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering.
