You'll be essential that ensures our sales teams are well-supported, our vendor relationships are strong, and our business operations run efficiently and quality. What You'll Be Doing - Your Key Responsibilities:
As our Core Business Team Leader, you'll be at the heart of our daily operations, leading a talented team across several critical areas:
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Empowering Our Sales Heroes (Sales Support): You'll ensure our sales teams have the tools, information, and processes they need to shine. This includes streamlining support requests, facilitating access to resources, and proactively identifying ways to make their jobs easier and more effective. Think of yourself as their strategic partner in achieving their targets.
• Orchestrating the Back Office (Sales Back Office): You'll oversee the smooth execution of essential back-office functions that underpin our sales engine. This includes order processing, contract management support, data accuracy, and ensuring compliance. Your focus will be on creating efficient workflows and minimizing friction points.
• Building Strong Partnerships (Vendor Management): You'll play a key role in nurturing our relationships with key vendors. This involves collaborating on performance monitoring, issue resolution, and ensuring we're getting the best value and service to support our business objectives. You'll be the bridge between our internal needs and external partners.
• Optimizing Our Talent (Headcount Allocations): You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand resource needs and contribute to effective headcount planning and allocation within the commercial teams. This requires a strategic mindset to ensure we have the right people in the right roles to achieve our goals.
• Driving Business Acumen (Business SMC - Subject Matter Contact): You'll act as a key point of contact and subject matter expert for core business processes and information. You'll facilitate knowledge sharing, contribute to process improvements, and ensure consistent understanding across relevant teams.

Championing Excellence (Sales Quality): You'll be a driving force in maintaining and improving the quality of our sales processes and outputs. This involves analysing data, identifying areas for improvement, implementing quality control measures, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. We're looking for someone who is not just capable, but also passionate about leading and developing a team. Ideally, you'll have:
• Proven experience (typically 5 years) in the telecom industry or a related fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated success in leading and motivating teams to achieve operational excellence.
• A strong understanding of sales processes, back-office operations, and vendor management principles.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and levels.
• Experience with data analysis and identifying trends to drive improvements.
• A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Familiarity with relevant business tools and systems.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).
