What you’ll do
The Credit Risk Senior Specialist is accountable for driving the design, implementation, and management of the credit risk framework within the company’s banking consumer finance business. This role strategically balances business growth objectives with portfolio quality by developing credit policies, risk models, and underwriting standards. The role requires close collaboration across product, data, operations, and compliance teams to ensure rigorous risk assessment, ongoing portfolio monitoring, and control mechanisms that enable sustainable, scalable growth.
- Implement credit risk management processes and governance structures to ensure consistent risk assessment across the consumer finance portfolio
- Lead on the design and validation of credit risk models, including scoring, behavioural, and fraud models, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and predictive power.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Product, MIS, operations & technology) to build and refine credit scoring models
- Monitor credit portfolio performance, delinquency & default trends.
Support the operational risk function in internal audits, regulatory reviews FRA audits and inspections
Who you are
- Extensive knowledge of digital financial solutions and related technologies.
- Expertise in evaluating credit risk through quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Ability to analyze borrower financials, credit histories, and market conditions to assess risk exposure.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to manage diverse stakeholders across business units.

- Minimum 3-5 years in banking or financial services
- Deep understanding of credit risk regulations and guidelines implementations, Solutions
- Proficient in leveraging data analytics, credit scoring models, and risk systems to derive insights.
- Capable of designing risk mitigation strategies based on data patterns and stress testing
