About this Role

We are seeking a Customer Delivery Project Lead to oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex, customer-facing projects for enterprise clients in Germany. This role focuses on managing multi-country, multi-domain initiatives, ensuring delivery aligns with time, cost, and quality expectations while adhering to governance standards. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and partners to translate business requirements into actionable plans and deliver transformative IT and business solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the delivery of enterprise customer projects, managing complexity across multiple domains and regions.
  • Translate business requirements into structured delivery plans and secure stakeholder alignment.
  • Establish and maintain governance controls, including budgeting, resourcing, and risk management frameworks.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure adherence to Vodafone methodologies and continuously improve delivery processes.
  • Facilitate transition into live service while minimising operational risk.
  • Align project outputs with broader programme objectives and escalate scope or dependency challenges.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities, including RFP responses and delivery planning.
  • Manage Agile delivery practices, including release planning, Scrum of Scrums, and roadmap updates.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, stakeholder communication strategies, and reporting frameworks.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and effective utilisation of resources.
  • Provide regular reporting on project performance, including financials, timelines, and quality metrics.
  • Maintain financial oversight, including forecasting, budgeting, and benefits tracking.

Who you are

  • Experienced in managing complex, end-to-end customer delivery projects within the ICT sector.
  • Skilled in Agile delivery frameworks, tools, and collaborative methodologies.
  • Capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  • Proficient in building and leading cross-functional, high-performing teams.
  • Strong in stakeholder communication, including presenting to senior audiences.
  • Knowledgeable in financial management, budgeting, and business case evaluation.
  • Fluent in German (C-level) and proficient in English (minimum B-level).
  • Certified in recognised project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining delivery excellence.
