Role Purpose:

•    Perform the _VOIS DLP allocated operational activities to implement the Corporate Security Data Loss Prevention strategy in _VOIS;
•    Contribute to enhance the _VOIS Data Loss Prevention program, analyse, provide advice and recommendation for data loss prevention measures;
•    Provide necessary inputs and support the implementation of Data Loss Prevention awareness activities for VOIS organization.
 

Key accountabilities:

•    Perform the _VOIS DLP monitoring activities for the allocated DLP areas as per the agreed process and timelines;
•    Ensure that all allocated DLP alerts are reviewed, investigated, tagged and closed as per the defined process and timeline;
•    Respond on time to the related emails for DLP incidents and related topics.
•    Investigate the possible data loss cases (for DLP tool alerts) related to Email, EndPoint, Cloud channels and timely address them during the investigation to the relevant stakeholders for review and inputs;
•    Provides support and expertise to investigate the data loss cases and collect the required DLP related evidences for the internal Investigation process;
•    Provide the necessary details to Investigations team to ensure the suspected data loss incidents are registered in Vodafone Case Management Tool (VCMT) in a timely manner;
•    Ensure recurrent reviews of the DLP alerts to identify trends, potential gaps or issues in the system and provide recommendation on improving the VOIS DLP monitoring process;
•    Perform ad-hoc and periodic reviews at VOIS level for any process for whitelisting in DLP tool and obtain relevant expertise, evidences and approvals for implementation;
•    Perform recurrent testing of the _VOIS DLP tool policies and rules in place, identify potential issues and address them to relevant stakeholders for mitigation actions;
•    Evaluate and propose additional data loss prevention controls/initiatives to limit the data loss cases for organization;
•    Support to implement the _VOIS Data Loss Prevention awareness activities and related materials;
•    Provide inputs to enhance the Data Loss Prevention awareness program within VOIS;
•    Identify best practices in DLP monitoring area and propose initiatives to enhance the _VOIS DLP monitoring program;
•    Prepare recurrent DLP related reports and presentations for management/internal stakeholders;
•    Provide support for any Group DLP related initiatives for implementation. 
•    Active member of the global DLP community and provide required VOIS inputs and best practices.
•    Provide support to manage the DLP alerts for the other _VOIS centres basis the business requirements.

Competencies, knowledge and experience:

•    Experience in data loss prevention related activities (and technical knowledge)
•    Solid knowledge regarding Shared services industry and internal processes;
•    Analytical thinking and attention to the details;
•    Advanced communication skills and stakeholder management skills;
•    Results oriented and focus on priorities;
•    Ability to deliver under strict deadlines;
•    Very good english language (writing and speaking).

Technical / professional qualifications: 
•    University degree
