Main Responsibilities
Commercial Analytics Strategy & Planning
- Design and implement a data and analytics strategy aligned with Commercial Excellence objectives and broader business goals. Define KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of commercial initiatives and data-driven decisions.
Data Management & Governance
- Manage the collection, cleaning, and integration of commercial data from multiple systems (CRM, ERP, marketing tools, sales platforms). Ensure data accuracy and consistency through robust governance and compliance measures.
Insights & Reporting
- Lead analytical projects on sales performance, customer segmentation, pricing, marketing effectiveness, and sales productivity. Use statistical analysis and visualization tools to uncover insights and trends. Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to support strategic decisions.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Commercial Excellence leaders and key stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Pricing) to align analytics with business needs. Collaborate across functions to drive data-informed strategies and measure outcomes.
Tools & Technology
- Assess, recommend, and support the implementation of advanced analytics tools tailored to commercial functions, including CRM analytics, pricing software, and marketing intelligence platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience (Minimum 5 years) in a data analysis or analytics role, with a strong focus on commercial functions (e.g., sales, marketing, pricing).
- Solid understanding of commercial business processes and data sources (e.g., CRM systems like Salesforce or SAP CRM, ERP systems, marketing automation platforms).
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one data analysis tool (e.g., Python with libraries like Pandas and NumPy, R).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to create insightful dashboards and reports for commercial stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis techniques relevant to commercial data (e.g., regression analysis, customer segmentation, A/B testing).
- Experience working with data specific to the Egyptian market is highly desirable.
