What you’ll do

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive data and analytics strategy specifically tailored to the Commercial Excellence function, aligning with overall business objectives and commercial goals.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage data and analytics to optimize sales processes, improve pricing decisions, enhance customer engagement, and maximize marketing ROI.
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of commercial excellence initiatives and the impact of data-driven insights.
    • Monitor industry best practices and emerging trends in commercial analytics and data science.
    • Oversee the collection, cleaning, validation, and integration of commercial data from various sources (e.g., CRM, ERP, marketing automation platforms, sales data warehouses).
    • Lead the design and execution of analytical projects focused on commercial performance, including sales analysis, customer segmentation, pricing optimization, marketing campaign effectiveness, and sales force productivity.
    • Apply statistical methods, data mining techniques, and data visualization tools to identify key trends, patterns, and insights within commercial data.
    • Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and impactful presentations for commercial leadership and other relevant teams.
    • Partner closely with the Head of Commercial Excellence and other commercial leaders (e.g., Sales Directors, Marketing Managers, Pricing Managers) to understand their data needs and business priorities.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a data analysis or analytics role, with a strong focus on commercial functions (e.g., sales, marketing, pricing).
  • Solid understanding of commercial business processes and data sources (e.g., CRM systems like Salesforce or SAP CRM, ERP systems, marketing automation platforms).
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one data analysis tool (e.g., Python with libraries like Pandas and NumPy, R).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to create insightful dashboards and reports for commercial stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis techniques relevant to commercial data (e.g., regression analysis, customer segmentation, A/B testing).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical findings to commercial audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on driving actionable insights for commercial improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic commercial environment.
  • Experience working with data specific to the Egyptian market is highly desirable.
