About this Role
What you’ll do
- Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of applications, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines across environments
- Lead system migrations, upgrades, and integrations, including decisions on tooling, automation, and deployment strategies
- Manage incident and problem resolution, prioritising according to SLA impact and business criticality
- Define and promote DevOps best practices, including monitoring, automation, and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and drive continuous improvements
- Maintain application and server availability across UNIX and Windows platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and database-related issues
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
- Maintain and update technical documentation and knowledge bases
- Use internal tools and documentation repositories to efficiently resolve incidents
Who you are
- Experienced in DevOps tools implementation and system integration
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture
- Familiar with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Nexus, and SonarQube
- Understanding of AWS cloud services is advantageous
- Solid background in UNIX/Linux administration and IT infrastructure (e.g., DNS, proxy, connectivity)
- Experience in service management, prioritisation, and handling multiple incidents simultaneously
- Familiarity with ITIL practices or certification is beneficial
- Knowledge of API management tools such as Apigee is desirable
- Basic software or web development knowledge is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
